Palma de Mallorca is not just a popular Mediterranean resort but also a major port and the capital of Majorca. It is known to have one of the best atmospheres of all the Mediterranean islands with a great history, sea and sun. There are areas of old cobbled streets with Gothic architecture and little boutique shops, or areas of stylish, sophisticated bars and shops on the waterfront. Visiting Palma

You can also see the surrounding beaches that you would like to visit. Another area of historic interest is the town of Alcudia where massive Roman excavations have occurred.
